Oscar De La Hoya made his final stop in East Los Angeles under the arch on Whittier Blvd. and Arizona Ave. on tuesday. The six-day city tour went from New York, Chicago, Houston, San Antonio to San Francisco and Los Angeles. De La Hoya [39-5, 30 KO’s] will face Manny Pacquiao [47-3-2, 35 KO’s] of the Philipines who is currently the pound for pound champion. Huge crowds attended their press conferences through the tour but the crowd in East Los Angeles was Oscar De La Hoya’s favorite crowd because he was born and raised in East Los Angeles.
